I am happy to announce my first series of fine art prints. Digital prints on Hahnemühle Fine Art Photo Rag paper, this edition of 14 prints brings back to my studio the artwork Tree of Life II (2019).

Tree of Life II (2019) celebrates the cosmic history of life on Earth. How did life first arise?  How is life connected?  Scientists now believe that meteorites rich in the mineral schreibersite are the source of the phosphorus, an essential component of DNA.  The artwork combines the trees outside my window in Berlin, with the shapes of the mineral schreibersite (two views below) falling from the sky.

Tree of Life II was exhibited in my solo exhibition at the Finland Institute in Germany in 2021 and sold to a collector then.  We had thought about using it for the catalog cover before the graphic designer came up with a cool folding idea involving another painting.  This is one of my favorite paintings, and it feels good to have these prints bring it back!  The prints capture the bright yellow feeling and the mathematical play with the crystal shapes (molecular bonds).

This edition consists of 14 digital 1440 dpi prints on Hahnemühle Fine Art Photo Rag paper, 308 g/m². Each image is 42 x 42 cm large and printed on a 50 x 50 cm piece of paper. These prints easily fit both 50 x 50 cm and 20 x 20 inch frame sizes.
